The No. 2 Battalion held a successful weekend training camp at the Paragon Base campsite from Friday 8 Feb to Sunday 10 Feb 2008.
The training was directed specifically at cadets training at the stars 1 and 2 levels, with a focus on SAA and FC. Cadets were also exposed to the electronic weapons and had great fun in testing them and participating in a tactical exercise.
79 cadets (including the NCOs) attended the camp. 10 officers attached to the Battalion also attended the camp.
From all reports, a good time was had by all and the cadets are looking forward to the next scheduled Battalion training activity which takes place on Saturday 16 Feb 08 at Combermere School from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs ( Photos Submitted By OC #3, Ms R.L Evans)
