Here Ms Evans explains the rules for
the minefield exercise. Partners were required to shout instructions to
blindfolded teammates to avoid the mines and cross the minefield, This
was not easy over the riotous shouting (especially from un-named
officers who were testing the patience of everyone by moving mines
around and shouting false instructions) It was most enjoyable and certainly tested the ability to focus in difficult circumstances and to trust one another. |

Here a team plans strategy to prepare for the mine challenge. refining instructions and even pace lengths.... It did not really work... Other teams in the background also plan strategy while officers look on and note the approaches used. |

and they are off... |

everyone eventually reached the
finish line - but some needed to restart numerous times.
However some officers did cheat quite noticeably, especially against strong teams - moving and stacking mines in their paths...naughty, naughty, Capt Moore... |

This exercise involved the
untangling of a chain of cadets. Hands could not be released. The team solved the puzzle quickly and effectively. |

This tangle was much more challenging. Both hands and bodies were entangled and again hands could not be released. |

with such titles as: Flip over Trust falls Twin diamonds Electric fence Golden egg challenge and.. Stepping stones |
