BATTALION 3 OFFICERS' WEEKEND RETREAT |

A full compliment of officers from the third battalion got together for a special training camp at Cadet Headquarters from Friday 9 Mar07 to Sat 10Mar.
Officers took the opportunity to cover many areas of training, to plan for Corps and Battalion activities, to exchange ideas as well as to socialize and relax. Naturally one of the subjects studied was the new

electronic weapons recently acquired. Officers were briefed on the technical aspects, safety considerations, training potential and the pure fun to be had from this new equipment. Unconfirmed reports claim that officers found a quiet spot (out of sight of any cadets), and 'had a ball' engaging in official training that looked a lot like 'cops and robbers

Congratulations to Captain Morodore and the officers of 3 Battalion for putting on such a successful retreat. Reports from Cadet Hq are that the concept was productive, well organised and well received. |
