NOW Running in Barbados.....

INTERNATIONAL CADET CHALLENGE CAMP 2011 !!!

Now even bigger, tougher, harder!!
12 EVENTS! TIGHT SCHEDULES! EVEN HIGHER STANDARDS! MORE COMPETITIVE!

Remember ICCC 2009?

It was challenging, it was fun, and it was competitive...

Here is a brief overview - and an idea of what ICCC 2011 promises, only it will be bigger, even better organized, and MUCH more competitive....

GREAT CADET BAND CONCERT HELD ON SATURDAY APRIL 16

The Cadet Band staged a concert on Saturday April 16 at Solidarity House. The show was designed to provide the opportunity for the cadets to perform in concert, with a live audience, and to practice their growing repertoire of music.  A large audience of parents, friends, officers and cadets were in attendance to hear the band perform their first sit down concert as a new young band.

The concert was very well received by the audience, and the band members clearly had an excellent time from all appearances.

In the first session, members performed recent individual examination pieces for the audience. This section also featured creative dance and a solo by a cadet.

The second section of the show featured the full band in concert, showing off their growing repertoire of music -which clearly showed a preference for calypso. According to one parent, they really seem to 'wuk up pon it'.

Intermission was a serious culinary affair with parents sparing to effort in the menu offered.

The parent association also took the opportunity to present tokens of appreciation to the band officers, Major Skeete and to former band CSUO Vickie Edwards for her role in developing the current young band.

Congrats to the Band, the Band Parents Association, who are the sponsors of the concert; and especially to Lt. P Eno and 2Lt.M. Holford for the great work with the young band cadets.
