In the first
session, members performed recent
individual examination pieces for the
audience. This section also featured
creative dance and a solo by a cadet.
The second section
of the show featured the full band in
concert, showing off their growing
repertoire of music -which clearly
showed a preference for calypso.
According to one parent, they really
seem to 'wuk up pon it'.
Intermission was a
serious culinary affair with parents
sparing to effort in the menu offered.
The parent
association also took the opportunity to
present tokens of appreciation to the
band officers, Major Skeete and to
former band CSUO Vickie Edwards for her
role in developing the current young
band.
Congrats to
the Band, the Band Parents Association,
who are the sponsors of the concert; and
especially to Lt. P Eno and 2Lt.M.
Holford for the great work with the
young band cadets.
