operations of the Barbados Cadet Corps. The whole group of teachers subsequently visited our Paragon campsite on Sunday Feb 17, where a cadet camp was in progress. Major Potts was very impressed with operations in Barbados and particularly of the close relationship that has continued between the schools and the Cadet Corps.

This relationship was broken some time ago in England and there is currently a move to re-establish the original connections.

During the visit, Major Skeete presented his visitor with  a copy of his book "The Combermere Cadet" as well as copies of the Blue Beret and a DVD highlighting last year's ICCC.

Maj Potts has promised to explore opportunities for the BCC to offer an arrangement where cadets are able to obtain the equivalent qualifications to GCSE through cadet Training as happens in England.
