SOUTH ZONE WINS SHOOT
 'Central's second second in two days'
   

South Zone
The final round of the Cadet Corps' inter Zone .22 rifle shoot saw tight competition between South and Central Zones.  North zone seems to be basking in their debate win from Friday night, and were not a factor on the shooting finals.

Overall top shot was Sgt Steele K of South. Sgt Cadogan E of Central was second with a score of 73 followed by Sgt Pile A and PO Kellman A both of Central with scores of 71 and 68 respectively. For competition shooters fired ten (10) rounds for the application shoot so highest possible score was 125.

There was a shoot-off between the four best shots of the day. This shoot- Out was won by Sgt Cadogan with a score of 70.Sgt Steede was second with 63 out of 100.

The Officers responsible for the development of the Cadet Shooting program will now select the Corps' front line Shooting team which will undergo specialised coaching and training that is aimed to improve the standards of shooting in the Corps. This competition provides a baseline of standards from which to build.
