FOUR MORE OFFICERS PREPARE

 TO LEAVE FOR CANADA

'Boldly going where no one had been before..'

 
 

2Lt Junior Ward and 2Lt Khalil Greene are due to leave Barbados on Wed 7 June. They will be departing GAIA at 1503 Hours on board Air Canada. They will travel first to Toronto reaching there at 2045 and will take another flight to Ottawa reaching there at 2330 hours. They will then move to Connaught Training Base where they will spend 8 - 15 June on course; departing on 16 June.
 
Lt Michael Boyce and Lt Lincoln Springer will depart on 9 June 06 and will arrive in Toronto and then move to Canadian Forces Base in Trenton.
 
Maj Patrick Skeete will leave for Ottawa on Sun 11 June and return on Sunday 18 June. He will be visiting all the bases from Ottawa to Toronto where the Officers will be trained and also the Sea Cadet Officers Training base.

Work schedules permitting, officers are welcome to be on hand at the GAIA to send these pioneers off on this new venture for the Corps.
 
On Tuesday 6 June Lt Boyce, 2 LT Greene and Maj. Skeete will be on Morning Barbados to speak about this event. They are likely to be on sometime after 0545.
 
It is important that the public, the schools and our parents particularly, are made aware that we are going to all lengths to ensure that our adult Leaders are well trained and prepared to better take care of the children of Barbados.
