OFFICERS UPGRADE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

BCC Officers lead by example

The Barbados Cadet Corps has been lucky to have been administered over the years by a number of excellent and highly talented officers who have become legends in the contributions that they have made to youth development in Barbados.

From the first commanding officer in 1904, Captain Radcliffe Hall to officers of more recent vintage, thousands of their cadets have come to respect and appreciate them.

The officers of 2005 are no less dedicated and committed, and have generally continued to develop their own talents and skills to improve their own lives as well as their contributions to the lives of their cadets.

This year alone, many of our officers are continuing formal studies at various institutions in Barbados and overseas. As a result some officers are on leave from duty for various periods up to four years while studying overseas and a number of other have been posted to different duties to accommodate their local study program

The Corps is happy to do all possible to support and encourage these hardworking officers and we wish them all early success in their various fields of study.
